To increase the maximum number of reach by 90% via social media
As one of the first maritime deemed universities in India, AMET University wanted their brand to build a meaningful connection with their audience but their audience reach at that time was inadequate to bring any substantial benefit even if they could accomplish this goal. Thus, they had to increase their reach to maximize the effectiveness of their campaign.
First, we analyzed the algorithm of different social media platforms that target audience visits and deduced different key factors that would help us increase reach. As there were multiple social media channels involved in this task, we had to sort out common features among these sites to improve efficiency. Few of which included finding the optimal time, targeting using audience-specific content, etc.
To engage the audience and retain their interest we used easy-to-remember quotes, images keywords, and publish content that would induce emotions. All content posted was set for an 80:20 ratio of information content: promotional content. We reduced the number of posts by 50% but set very high standards for each content posted. Thus, we able to grab more attention from the audience.
